I cheated today because I forgot to take a picture and now I'm at work and it's almost midnight :) So I 'took' a picture from the internet :)

Glad we weren't sent for one of these. TJ has a broken growth plate in his foot. Nothing to worry about, but it's very painful. He must have a high pain tolerance, he even competed with it last Saturday. Had I known I wouldn't have let him compete then so that he could have healed up for Provincials which is in a week and a half. He still wants to compete as it is the qualifier for Westerns.

TJ and I on our first little bike ride. Gotta start small :) 

I saved myself at least $50 by fixing my own brakes. Put a new brake cable and new brake pads on. It was easier than I thought. TJ wants to go on a bike trip (with a tent and everything). We'll see :)

Day 58

This Rose is amazing. Tomorrow it will be two weeks old and it's still kept its shape. It is starting to dry out even though it's in water, but it's not wilting! :)

Sledding at AEP. I was sooooo cold and my fingers stopped circulating and turning white and numb, but TJ had fun (till my fingers started hurting and I couldn't take it anymore).

If I was ever stranded in the snow I wouldn't last more than an hour, I'd have to have all my fingers and toes amputated :/

I was going to add a little video of TJ sledding, but my phone won't let me! (And I'm at work :p )

Almost forgot to post a picture today! I took some pictures earlier of some neat clouds, but now I'm at work and will be until tomorrow so I had to take a pic here at the gym :)

Almost looks like cheese :) (except the green ones, they would be moldy cheese :p )

I was going to take a picture of a fluffy little cloud that was lit up by the sun against the dark grey clouds, but the clouds were moving so fast that it was gone before I could get my camera. So I thought I would try a little bit of time lapse photography and took a few pics about 5 seconds apart and put them together into a 19 second video :)

This will be fun to do in the summer :)

 Banana bread!

This is not your typical banana bread! This is a basic recipe for white bread to which I added 3 mushed bananas. Turned out really good :)

Mmmmm... Banana bread toast with jam :)

TJ and I went to look at bikes today! He needs a new bike :) , but now he wants to go all out and go on a bike trip in the near future :)

After looking at bikes we sat at Mcd's and had a drink :) (so convenient when it's in the store)

I can't believe it's still alive :) and still growing strong.

TJ is only 11, but he got his 'N' :)

(He found it on the ceiling in the boys bathroom at school. So he climbed on a friends back to get it down)

Starting to feel a little better, but feeling really weak. I managed to get this picture of a tree in our front yard covered in ice. Hopefully when the weather gets warmer I will be able to get more interesting pictures.

Well this was a complete failure, boy have I got a lot to learn! I need to work on my f-stops and focus (although I blame my eyes for that). Even when I use AF and then switch it to MF so it's focused on what I want and then I can snap as many pics as I want, I still get blurry pictures.

Maybe the f-stop was too large? IDK, but this is the best one I got!

I'm also always in too much of a hurry because I don't have a lot of time.

To top it all off, I ended up eating too many cookies so I had to stop :)

You've seen my favorite little boy from the nursery, well here's my favorite little girl :)

This is Harmony. I've looked after her in the nursery since she was about 6 or 7 months old. She has also always only wanted me :) (although she is getting a little braver now) She's a very busy little girl. Her mom is looking for work so I will get to daycare her soon :)

I love my crock pot! We had chicken teriyaki with wild rice tonight :)

And then banana toffee pie (for this I caramelized a can of sweetened condensed milk in the crockpot)

My attempt at pouring water into a glass. My glass wasn't round at the bottom so I didn't get the effect I was looking for, but it still looks kinda neat. Now to find the perfect glass. :)
